Hi Delonix!

Thanks and are you well?
After Goni, my town has drastically gotten cool and autumn-like 😉.

I’m glad to hear that.

Your region sometimes has big tropical depressions, doesn’t it? I think ordinary typhoons are no problem because they are not too strong. A few typhoons bring severe damage to us.

The region gets them. But they don’t reach my area very often, and when they do is mostly the “tail of the storm” (I’m not sure if that’s a very good translation). So, in most cases we just get heavy rain, and in the worst case, a lot of rain and wind during hurricane seasons. Damages might come because of land slides, and flodds, but I don’t think there’s ever been a strong enough wind to cause trouble.

Oh, that’s good.

You mean like this?

Hi Delonix.
Sorry for my late reply.

I wonder what we say “tail of the storm” in Japanese. I couldn’t find it though I tried. What do you say it in Spanish?

By the way, yesterday, I noticed your new photos on Flickr. They are cute. I tried to find their names out, but I couldn’t, orz. They are unique species of your country?
