The logo of Juuni kokuki has been created! (2012.05.11)

The logo of Juuni kokuki has been created! It has a subtle charm.
As we thought it is too ordinary to use the clerical script of computer fonts, we recreated the new font from both the original Oracle bone script and the original Chinese Bronze script which are older the Chinese scripts than the original clerical script.
We gave such a processing. By this, readers don’t set the era of the story and they can have a broad perspective from original script shape.

Hi o6asan,

Wow all this information about twelve kingdoms makes me feel so excited 😀 I had seen the images on shinchosha but couldn’t understand anything. Thank you for translating it. 🙂

My sister’s friend is going to stay in Japan for a year and between everything his friends asked him to bring, my sis asked him to buy Shadow of the moon Sea of shadow, so I’m looking forward to see it on my hands 😀

bye bye

Hi Gkatar,

> My sister’s friend is going to stay in Japan for a year
Wow, it’s great. If he stays in Japan for a year, he may be able to get the new title for you and your sister. I hear Shinchōsha has the publishing plan about the new title of Juuni kokuki sometime soon.

Hi o6asan,

>he may be able to get the new title
I though about it but I don’t know japanese. That’s is why I ended up reading the English fan’s translations (not even in my own lenguage). When my sister asked me if I wanted one, it was for having an original, and if I learn japanese someday I will be able to read it.

> if I learn japanese someday I will be able to read it.

Not “someday”, but “sometime soon”. Please do it. Actually, the Japanese writing system is more difficult than the Japanese speaking system, and you’re busy because of your study, though.

>“sometime soon”
Well, I’ m not sure exactly what I’m going to do the next cuatrimestre, but sure I can check for any vacant in the japanese class of the university. It all depends on the subjects I’m now on.

> It all depends on the subjects I’m now on.

I hope your good grades!! See you next time.

Hey there,
I just wanted to leave a great, big THANK YOU for translating these 12 Kingdoms short stories. It is a pleasure to be able to read them.
Thank you for all your hard work!!

Kind regards,
nacchi

Hi nacchi!

Thanks for your comment.

> It is a pleasure to be able to read them.
To hear that is my pleasure.

Ono sensei is writing a new story of the series. I hear the length of the story already reaches to 1000 pages of 400-character manuscript paper and she’s not finished yet. The publisher does not announce the release date still now. But it may not be far away.

The new story is long. So I’m thinking it would be nice if Eugene Woodbury brings us its translations.
